Sample based electronics played through a quadraphonic sound system, combined with live playing on alto sax, bass clarinet and piano.
The electronic sounds were triggered by an array of switches – some hanging on wires from the ceiling of the gallery and making me walk from place to place in order to activate them, some placed on the floor as foot switches, and others connected to keys on my saxophone and to the hammer mechanism of the piano, so I could play these instruments while simultaneously using them as triggers. All switches were routed to a laptop (off stage) that controlled the quad system placed around the audience.
